LTM Extended Family: Kendall Guinn

Kendall is an innovator in the commercial and residential real estate marketing space.

As CMO for Lincoln Ventures, Kendall oversees the firm’s go-to-market strategy, including all corporate and property marketing. Kendall’s deep background in branding and digital and inbound marketing for real estate give Lincoln Ventures and its investors a cutting-edge advantage over the competition.

Prior to joining Lincoln Ventures, Kendall served as Chief Marketing Officer for AQUILA Commercial where she directed all corporate marketing, communication, and market research efforts for commercial real estate services firm.

At AQUILA, Kendall led the creation of the industry’s most-read resource for commercial real estate services information and Austin market data in the country. This pioneering content marketing initiative drove an influx of leads, new business, and revenue. Kendall also led the creation of of AQUILA’s award-winning in-house video department that produced over 200 videos in the three years, garnering over 100,000 views on YouTube.

In 2020 Kendall was selected nationally as a top influencer in Commercial Real Estate Marketing and Communications by the editors at GlobeSt Real Estate Forum. Kendall is a noted public speaker and speaks regularly at conferences in both the real estate and marketing industries.

Kendall’s friends and family call her a modern Martha Stewart. She loves baking, crafting, gardening, and entertaining, and details her adventures in crafting and motherhood on her blog, EntertainingLife.com.

What makes a place special to you?

For me, experiencing a place doesn’t become truly special until I’ve shared it with someone else I care about.

My favorite special places are my parents’ house in Georgetown, the Palace of Versailles in France, and our family’s ranch in West Texas.

I also hold a special place in my heart for the Dallas Design District, which I was a part of creating and marketing early in my career.

How do you like to spend your summers?

Summer is my favorite time of year. We go on an annual beach trip to Galveston with my husband’s family.

I also love spending time at the swimming pool with my almost two-year-old, Annabelle. I have been a pool rat my whole life and worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor every summer in high school and college.

I love to entertain and love having parties for the summer’s patriotic holidays – Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. I love decorating the house in red, white and blue and hosting our neighborhood friends for cookouts in the backyard.

What inspires you?

I find inspiration in so many things. I am a firm believer in being a lifetime learner; I love listening to audiobooks and podcasts and reading – all activities that provide a lot of inspiration.

I also get inspiration from traveling and experiencing other cultures and places. I am a marketer now, but my degree is in international studies and Spanish, so I have always fostered a strong interest in learning from others, not just locally, but from around the world.
